Whilst within close proximity to Brisbane CBD, House for Stuartholme was conceived as a bushland retreat.
Much like a courtyard house, the siting of the building and the orientation of living spaces promote a connection to the immediate gardens, swimming pool, and the greater landscape beyond. Natural materials such as Australian hardwoods have been carefully selected to connect the building to the site, for durability, and for bushfire.
